Dog grooming is a great choice for anyone wanting a rewarding and flexible career with Dogs. Everyday is different and it is certainly never boring! it will bring both happiness, enjoyment and hard challenges along the way. But it is not an easy job there are many challenges from diary and time management to handling difficult behaviour, along with customer service, heartache and situations that will leave you either laughing your head off or crying your eyes out. Dog grooming requires patience, a caring nature and of course a love for animals, but it also needs someone who is hands on practical and creative too. However don't let that put your off, it can also be the best job you have ever had! you will get to meet wonderful pets build relationships and trust with them, enable your artistic flair and work on your terms, earn well, the day will never drag and you will feel proud, of your grooms, and your achievements, there really is nothing quite like watching your happy clients walk out your salon and getting recommendations for your services, A career in Dog Grooming has so much potential depending on what you are looking for, from having the freedom and flexibility of being your own boss and running a small business from home or mobile van working the hours and days you want, owning and managing your own commercial salon and team, to working part or full time either employed or self employed in a salon where you will gain experience, have a supportive team around you and continued training support.
