Initial starter session - 30 Mins
starter sessions need to be carried out around every 7 days, on average 2-5 sessions are needed before moving onto Maintenance cleaning. please note that is a process which is different for each individual dog and time scales and results vary. Not every dog will be suitable for this treatment this will be discussed within a free consultation.

Maintenance ongoing sessions 15 mins
Maintenance sessions can commence after the initial sessions have reached a best result in plaque removal and in which we aim to clean, maintain and promote gum health. These will need to be carried out every 4-12 weeks.

We always need models for our students training towards their City & Guilds qualifications. Under the very watchful eye and supervision of our experienced groomer and tutor, we endeavour to deliver the same quality cuts as our professional groomers, The tutor will go over all styles during and at the end of their groom to ensure they look fantastic, they will be given breaks and be given the best care and attention.
can your dog Be a model?
Students require slightly more time for their grooms and there is always a risk of a haircut mistake happening so haircuts may need to be adapted & flexible re the outcome, although this is rare, its just worth being aware students will not have developed the quicker reflexes. Another thing to note is some dogs are not quite cooperative enough for a student groom and if the risk of an accident is present the teacher will continue the groom themselves and will going forward not be able to be a tr

we recommend your cat be groomed regularly throughout their lifetime on average 4-5 times a year, we also recommend that we do not trim nails on outdoor cats, this may hinder them being able to climb over fences or up out of danger.

depending on the severity the knots or mats may have to be removed by clipping, we will never try to detangle or scissor cut them as cats skin is very thin and delicate. full consultation will be made with you prior to the groom. prices are in addition to a dry and wet bath and groom out. in some cases less severe tangles may be able to be groomed out if the coat is clean.

Cats don't like water?
This is a myth, cats will happily be groomed just like dogs if introduced to water properly from a young age, we recommend no younger than 16 weeks, we have a water introduction process. Cat grooming has many benefits including reducing shedding & dander, preventing matting & tangles, removing dirt & debris, improving skin & coat health & identifying potential health issues.
Cats do clean themselves as w however some cats are lazy, their saliva can be sticky & some are unable to reach all areas

Please note that we do not bath same day as handstripping, we allow 48 hours for the pores and skin to settle, bath and dry is an addition fee. Handstripping each dog and breed is so very different most take 2 hours but some can take up to 4 depending on size, coat condition and behaviour. Please note however we will not be able to handstrip aggressive dogs.

We are happy to help with nervous & anxious dogs, Patiently working with dogs that need confidence building and the regain their confidence and trust, However, Please note we are not always able to groom dogs that are known to bite or be aggressive, please speak to our groomers if you know this to be an issue as we still may be able to make special arrangements. if we are not aware, we may need to terminate the groom
